Original features, lovingly restored

With art deco on the walls, an in-house cinema, a beautiful aquarium, and much more, you’ll see that Bluewater Care Home is truly unique.

We encourage you to come and visit us in person. It will help you to experience and appreciate how much love and attention has gone into making this a home.

Entrance and reception

The 1920s designed front door takes you to the main entrance, with its art deco portrait of ‘The Swimmers’. You’ll also find a notice board with the latest events and activities, and the original plaster crest, which has been restored and painted by a local artisan.

The reception area is a light, airy and spacious room where you’ll always receive a warm welcome. Many of the original features have been lovingly restored, including the main desk and the magnificent stone and terrazzo stair case.

Refreshments can be served in one of two seating areas, and out in the courtyard garden so you can enjoy the fresh air.
